ETERNAL REALITIES
Heaven is an eternal reality.
To be among the top branches of a tall tree on a windy day, is an experience that cannot be conveyed by words. We must be in the tree to know the experience. So also must we be in the proper place if we would experience the thrill of spiritual realities in heavenly places. Words cannot give experience, but here are some steps that lead to reality.

A knowledge of Jesus as personal Savior is a necessary first step to an understanding of spiritual reality or a revelation of God's eternal Truth.

If reality in the Christian life depended on just one thing, it would be "Seek the Lord, and His strength; seek His face evermore." (Psalm 105:4) True reality will come to those who seek God, because...."He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6)

Seeking God for a need ends when the need is met, but seeking God for spiritual reality never ends. When seeking God on earth changes to seeing God in Heaven, we will still desire His presence. Paul the Apostle had one constant passion -- forgetting the past, he pressed toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:14) that he might know Christ!

To prevail in prayer until the Holy Spirit witnesses to our spirit, is to receive a revelation from the Lord. "Call unto me and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things that thou knowest not" (Jeremiah 33:3). Paul instructed others by writing of the visions and revelations that he experienced and many of his writings are included in the New Testament as the eternal truth of God.

If we count all earthly things but loss and seek God in daily prevailing prayer, we too can have the witness of the Spirit in revelations from God. Comparing these revelations with Scripture, we will find that we are fellow-partakers with the apostles and prophets of the things that God reveals to men.

Whether God's truth is revealed to Isaiah, John, Paul or us, it is the same eternal, inspiring, life giving Truth. We do not know what reality is until the Spirit of God reveals to us the wisdom and knowledge that comes from the throne of God.

Isaiah saw the throne of God (Isaiah 6:1). Ezekiel, John and Paul also saw the throne of God. So can you. In this way you can experience for yourself the bliss and absolute reality of spiritual dimensions.

A prayer of Paul the Apostle in Ephesians 1:17-20, 2:18
    That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him;
    The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what (are) the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
    And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe according to the working of His mighty power
    That He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies...
    For through Him (Christ) we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
